Our story is very much shaped by where we started, New York. A cultural melting pot where creativity, expression, and originality is in every corner. Likewise, we hope to create a space where innovative products are accessible across the world.
As an Industrial Design Consultant, Alvaro Uribe visited about five different trade-shows a year, meeting new clients. Through many conversations with both brands and retailers, it became apparent that these shows were offering less diversity and, as a result, saturating the retail market with the same brands and products. So, Alvaro set out to create a platform focused on offering design businesses and design lovers, undiscovered gems - that is how Aztro was born.
Alvaro is an Industrial Designer and Educator. He worked as a design consultant for over eight years, developing products for OXO, SC Johnson, Chobani, and later starting his own design practice. He worked with celebrated brands such as Rosenthal, Nambe, Gantri, and Riedel. His work was recognized with four Red Dot, the most significant honor in the industry. Alvaro also works as an Industrial Design Associate Adjunct.Professor at Pratt Institute, where he teaches business focus design and form exploration.
Laura is an experienced project manager, bringing her knowledge in construction coordination to working with Brands and Retailers. With a deep commitment to community engagement, she helps Brands get on-boarded, and buyers find the right fit for their business. Laura also helps develop a thorough understanding of our client’s business challenges while leveraging partnerships and educating clients on strategic opportunities to grow.
Marketing Manager Experienced in content development, marketing strategy, brand positioning, digital marketing, and creative direction, Laura combines her experience in Fashion with a degree in visual communications for impactful marketing strategies that drive results. A thought leader and natural problem solver, she thrives when presented with challenges and change. She has proven experience in building rapport within Aztro’s community.

StartersHub US founder Cigdem Toraman has about 31 years of experience working in essential management functions in marketing, advertising, technology, media, finance, fashion, retail, wholesale, and venture capital industries.
She is also the co-founder of the wholesale marketplace LifeisStyle.us and ethically conscious apparel and home textile company loom.ist by Ark of Crafts.
Cosanuova is a retailer and wholesaler of finished fine jewelry to customers world wide that was recently launched and operates from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. By offering modern and trendy jewelry designs in silver and gold along with supreme customer service & customer guidance, a great up to date selection and lower prices than a traditional independent retailer, the company is aiming to become a large player in the e-commerce scene.
Prior to starting her revolutionizing health and wellness coaching brand You & Co, Shannon was the Director of Sales for world stablished brands such as Nambe, Michael Aram, as well as sales manager for William Sonoma. Shannon bring to Aztro her extensive experience in design-driven retail and e-comerce driven sales.

What does Aztro Mean?
The name Aztro comes from the abbreviation A-Z TRading Online. Beyond this, we believe our mission of connecting brands with customers strongly relates to connecting starts as constellations, both creating a greater meaning.
We currently represent brands from over 30 countries worldwide, some young and some with a bast history, but both with the common denominator of -design.
