Story

The noble log has been used as a stool or side table for centuries, and Young & Battaglia add their twist to this classic and humble object. The beautiful irregular imperfections of wood grain and tree bark are translated into iconic graphical characters for ‘madam’ and for ‘monsieur’. This friendly faced, upholstered ottoman takes its cue from the phrase 'Sleep like a log', bringing an air of peacefulness and quiet to the bedroom or living room. The design is digitally printed on to fabric, and then upholstered on to a simple round cylindrical form, they are available in black on white, and white on black.
